"I know what you mean."
I use this phrase all of the time, but I don't think anyone really knows what anyone else means, or at least they can't know exactly what the other person means. People's experiences always bias the way that they perceive events, so everyone means something different than any other person. I am still wrestling with this--I can't decide if this is good or bad. But, whatever it is...it just is.
